eVisuals provides an integrated secure user interface for Digital Asset Management (D.A.M.). Subscribers are linked to the Data Asset Management databases which will provide a secure interface to log-on, locate images, choose the product application, create theartwork (or work online), proof, check, approve, assign to print and designate final destinations for multiple projects from their desktop. You can now create device-independent images and documents. That means, all you need is to scan an image once at our local point of entry into the network. We then store that image with its color input profile in the D.A.M. for any use within the eVisuals Network. That file will be saved in three sizes and in an expanded eVisuals colorspace. The client will automatically have a screen resolution FPO (for position only) file of each scanned image deposited onto their desktop in a virtual file cabinet. They can then use these device-independent images and documents for any number of purposes, including a World Wide Web page, a poster, a billboard, a magazine ad, or a newspaper, without even needing to re-scan the image. Your desktop FPO file will be suitable for placing in all types of layouts, making color corrections, and image compositing. The Data Asset Management Center will access the current ICC (color) Profiles, augment color for each designated device, prepare the production file and then transfer the final digital information to the appropriate production partner closest to the shipping destination.
